Football Club

Coby has been going to a football club since half term and is absolutely loving it!

We all went for the first week, as Aaron has also started, as Coby’s training is from 5pm-6pm on a Tuesday at Eggbuckland School, and Aaron’s is from 6pm-7pm at the same place. So I was picked up from work and we got some food in Asda on the way, before eating it parked up at the school. A few of Coby’s friends go as well, which is why he wanted to go, and he also does love playing football and can kick the ball really well already!

For the first part of the session, they do ball skills, which was fun to watch during the 1st week as the ball is quite big for Coby and so kept rolling away from him. He did really well though! For the 2nd part of the session, they play a match. During the first week, Coby was in goal quite a lot but did save a few and did a few good long kicks. Last night, apparently, he scored a couple of goals! 😉 He is currently wearing his normal trainers so he is going to ask Father Christmas for some proper indoor football trainers this year, and is wearing his Everton kit each week.

We can’t believe that Coby has started his first club though, as the other two took a while to get into any out of school clubs. But hopefully, he will progress well and end up playing for Everton!
