Coby is now well into his 2nd half term at school in foundation and he is doing really well. His speech is coming along nicely, although he is still not saying the sounds at the start of some words, but he is doing very well in everything else. The teachers all love him and say he is a good boy! 😉 He keeps coming home with lots of pictures that he has made, mostly of our family, so it looks like he does a lot of drawing in there.
He has started eating a few more different things for his hot dinner now as well, although he does still mostly have jacket potato. He does have fish on Fridays and burgers, and a few other things, but the menu doesn’t really have a lot of things he (or I!) like unfortunately. At least he is trying!
He still plays mostly with Ali and Lottie, though he does mention a few other children now, which is good. I think he gets on with all of them in there, which is a relief!
He had his first proper birthday party invitation last week for a party in December, so he is looking forward to that, but he has yet to receive any certificates from school, though he is on 7 merits now so only 3 more to get for his first bronze merit certificate. Hopefully he will get this before the end of term so we can go in and see him get presented with it in assembly.
He is going in on his own in the morning quite happily but still comes to the wind and blows and kiss and gives a thumbs up to whoever is dropping him off. He looks very grown up when he walks in now as he knows exactly what he is doing and you can see the confidence in him. Well done Coby, we are very proud of you! xx
