We were lucky enough to get 3 free tickets to watch Argyle vs Crewe (a top of the table clash) from Plymouth Kolts Under 11’s the other Saturday. As the weather was so bad, and the matches were cancelled, I suggested that Ben’s coach, Marcus, try and get some football tickets for the boys as a bit of a team bonding session – so he did – and managed to get extras for parents and siblings as well! So, we managed to get 3 so myself, Ben and Coby went to the game, which was Coby’s first ever live game. The tickets were for the family enclosure, which we had never been in before, but were, annoyingly, on row A at pitch level, which was open to the weather and didn’t give us a brilliant view of the game! So we got completely soaked and quite cold by the end! lol It was a good game though, even though the first half was 0-0 and Argyle were awful. The second half was much more entertaining and Argyle came back from 1-0 down to win 2-1 and go to 4th in the table. Ben, and his team mates, were getting quite into it when the goals were going in and were jumping up and down in excitement! Even Coby was getting involved as well and was shouting at the players to ‘head the ball’ and ‘tackle’…hahaha. He even got up and did a little dance when Argyle scored, which made everyone laugh! By the end he was tired and cold though and ended up curled up on my lap, practically falling asleep! The excitement must have taken it out of him! He did say he enjoyed it though and wanted to go again, as long as it wasn’t wet and cold. I think we all agreed with that!
