In late July, Coby went to the beach for the first time. 😉
It was during my two weeks of holiday, and after the car had broken down, when we went on a train trip to Teignmouth for the day. The weather was lovely and warm and for a few hours, we went on to the beach. Coby slept for ages in the buggy to start with but after he woke up, he had a look around and Kelly took him down to the water’s edge and dipped his toes in. He didn’t seem too fussed either way and didn’t make much of a big deal over the sand either really. Probably due to him being only just over 3 months old! Â Whilst he was dipping his toes in the water, Aaron did splash him and caused him to start screaming!! Probably due to the shock of the cold water over his face. He soon calmed down though and sat back down with Mummy at our camp.
Hopfully next time we go to the beach, he will be a bit older and will start playing with the sand – as long as he doesn’t put it in his mouth and try to eat it!!! 😉
